Seth J. Arnowitz Mr. Arnowitz graduated from New York University in 1986. He received his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1989, where he was a Notes & Comments Editor of The Hofstra Law Review. Following graduation, Mr. Arnowitz joined the law firm of Cummings & Lockwood as an associate where he represented individuals and corporations in complex litigation matters. From 1994 through 1998, Mr. Arnowitz was the senior associate at the Law Offices of Frank N. Peluso, P.C., where he managed the firm’s real estate and litigation departments. In 1998, Mr. Arnowitz formed the Law Offices of Seth J. Arnowitz, LLC, where he continues to represent individuals and small companies in sophisticated real estate and litigation matters. Mr. Arnowitz is the author of "Expert Evidence in Connecticut State Courts", American Bar Association Scientific Evidence Review Monogram No. 4 (1999) and "Denying a Natural Parent Visitation Rights", 20 Family Law Review 2 (June 1988). Mr. Arnowitz is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, State of New York, United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also affiliated with the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Regional Bar Association. Mr. Arnowitz was born in Brooklyn, New York and now resides in Wilton, Connecticut with his wife and three children. Sarah A. Ripegno Ms. Cotillo graduated from Boston University in 1998 with honors. She received her law degree from Pace University School of Law in 2001, also graduating with honors. Ms. Cotillo is a member of both the State of Connecticut and State of New York bars. Ms. Cotillo has been practicing law since 2001 and is experienced in representing purchasers, sellers, lenders, real estate brokers and title insurance companies in all aspects of the purchase and sale of real property. In addition to real estate law, Mrs. Cotillo also has extensive Probate Court experience, where she frequently serves as the court-appointed attorney, guardian ad-litem or conservator in such diverse cases as probable cause hearings, appointments of guardians and conservators, the temporary and permanent removal of parental rights, adoption matters and matters relating to the probate of wills and the administration of decedents’ estates. Ms. Cotillo was born in Greenwich, Connecticut and now resides in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband and daughter. Samuel "Ben" Brightwell Mr. Brightwell graduated from Western Washington University in 1999 and Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005. During law school, Mr. Brightwell was a member of the Moot Court team that won the national family law competition in Albany, New York. Mr. Brightwell is a member of the Connecticut and New York State Bars and practices in the areas of family law and litigation. His family law practice includes divorce, matrimonial, custody, visitation, child support and civil union issues. His litigation practice includes civil, commercial, personal injury, foreclosure and landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Brightwell grew up in Seattle, Washington and now resides in Norwalk, Connecticut with his wife.
